Janullatos out of Albania Now
Yannoulatos is just another unscrupulous Greek
Yanullatos & CO are bonethiefs ! He should leave Albania "YESTERDAY", it's not his homeland and he is not loving Albania more then Greece. He can't hide any more his "vorioepir" ideas and should leave .
Janullatos is viewed by Albanians for what he is - a Trojan
Horse for the Greek chauvinists who aspire to annex Southern Albania to satisfy their greed.
Yannoulatos is just another unscrupulous Greek
politician messing his nose in the dirty business of Albanian politics. He
should have left Albania ten years ago.
The Albanian Orthodox Church in the United States, founded by Bishop Noli,
was the symbol of Albanian spirit. It was a very important factor in
determining Albania's independence as a state and the identity of the
Albanians. Supporting a Greek bishop at the head of the Albanian Orthodox
Church is a disgraceful denial of everything Bishop Noli and other Albanian patriots in the US have achieved
Make no mistake, Nick Gage is behind this honorary degree for this Trojan
Horse, and this was designed by Gage to advance his objectives for Albania.
We don't need to be a religious zealot of any religion
to know that this group of chauvinists has alterior motives for Albania.
Jannulatos crossed line between state and religion long ago, and for this he is
fair game for any and all attacks.
It is particularly offensive when Gage is trying to fool people into believing that Janullatos is a kinder, gentler sort who loves the the Kosovars, while it was Gage who and his
chauvinist friends, who are the biggest supporters of Janullatos, who ran full
page ads in the New York Times with the direct objective of preventing U.S.
military intervention in Kosova.Anyone who tries to put any
other spin on the Janullatos situation is either naive or part Greek and should
be considered a friend of Gage.None of us should be
wasting our valuable time on a malcontent who likes to say white just because
everyone else is saying black.
A bullet is suspended in the window of the Spartan Tirana office of
Archbishop Anastasios, head of the Orthodox Church of Albania – stopped in its flight
toward him by the double-glazed pane. It was fired by a sniper during 1997 .
It means a lot, it means people didn't want him, nor their purpose.
12.12.2002, in Albanian Orthodox Church in Tirana one group og young people
and some albanians intelectuals gathered to listen to a preaching speech of Anastasio Janullatos.
He as usuall started in greek language. This situation, some of the people there were so angry and start screaming and shouting at him:
"Janullatos:Out of Albania"
"We want our Albanian Archbishop, out greek Janullatos from Albania."
" In Noli's Albanian orthodox Church must be only in albanian language"
"Albanians wake up from greek's propaganda"
The Orthodox Church of Elbasan ST. Maria is so much againts Janullatos and his ambicious ideas.
We would like to remind Bishop Yannoulatos that no one can use church and
religion to create a state within a state, no one can use extra-canonical
activities, including economical and social projects, to influence and
convert poverty-stricken people, to force them to change their names,
religion and ethnicity - to convert them from Albanians to Greeks. These
actions negatively affect the relations between the two neighboring nations
and seriously endanger peace and stability in the entire region.
Regarding Yannoulatos’ humanitarian credentials, let’s not forget that, at
the time of the Serb massacres in 1998-1999, he had no sympathy for the
Kosova Albanians. He publicly objected to the NATO intervention.
There are over 200,000 Cham refugees in Albania today. They were brutally
expelled from their own homes in Chameria and their properties confiscated
by the Greek government in 1944. Bishop Yannoulatos has never uttered a word
regarding their plight.

"FAN.S.NOLI" NATIONAL ASSOCIATION PROTESTS APPOINTMENT OF
GREEK BISHOPS IN ALBANIA
TIRANA, AUGUST 2 (ATA)-The Presidency of the "Fan S. Noli"
National Association has sent a copy of its protest to Albanian
President Sali Berisha, Parliament's Speaker Pjeter Arbnori,
Prime Minister Aleksander Meksi and the Dean of the Diplomatic
Corps accredited to the Republic of Albania, Romanian ambassador
George Miku, to make them aware of Istanbul Oecumenical
Patriarchy's decision to ordain three Greek bishops in three
dioceses in Albania without the approval of the Albanian Church
and State.
"We consider this act an interference not only into the
rights of the Albanian Autocephalous Church but also into the
internal affairs of the Albanian state", the protest says.
"How is it possible that the Istanbul Patriarchy thinks to
ordain in Albania only Greek orthodox ministers and not send them
to other countries of the former communist East?", the Presidency
of the association asks.
The protest says that "It is not the first time the
patriarchy tries to put the Albanian Orthodox Autocephalous
Church in the clutches of the Hellenic Church".
The decision of the Istanbul patriarchy runs contrary to the
Statute of 1926 of the Albanian Orthodox Autocephalous Church.
The Patriarchy recognised the autocephaly of this church in 1936.
Fan Noli, the association is named after, was chairman of
the Albanian Orthodox Autocephalous Church in the U.S. He was the
most outstanding activist in creating the Albanian Orthodox
Church and detaching it from the denationalising influence of the
Greek Church
